problem with install was created by viz studio

I have just purcased on Solid Rock, I downloaded the program and used the serial i got. But when i try to do the settings in 3ds, i cant find Suburb tools, even when i try to restart my computer. I tried to run the max script, and see if that worked, then the solid roskc menu came up but i couldt do any render. It always came error messages.
Do i need to wait 48 hours, to use the real lisens?
I used my home computer to download the file, but i did install it on my workstation, is that a problem?
I use 3DS Max 2011, and v -ray sp5.
Best Regards
Espen

				Hello Espen,
hmm looks like you've specified the wrong path into the setup..
you need to specify the max root (max install folder)
for example : c:\program files\autodesk\3dsmax2011
do NOT specify the plugin folders, but only the max root folder.
So please run the setup again with the correct install path, and all will run fine.
Hope it helps !

				Hi again!
Well, it tried to reinstall it, and did run the exe file as Adminstrator! Voila! It works!!

Looking forward to use the fully program!
Another question:
When i load a interior scene, wich i have made from the regular v-ray settings, Solid Rock did not adopt these settings? Have i missed something? Is there a button i have missed?
Best Regards

				Hi espen, cool !
SolidRocks have its own settings, and are independant of the scene Vray settings.(non destructive)
BUT, you can apply SR (SolidRocks) settings to the scene for ever using the button named "apply SR to Vray on exit".
If this button is checked ON, when you leave solidrocks it apply settings to the scene.
Hope it helps !
