New Build : 0.75 ! (21/02/2009)

bugs removed :

OK - bug gamma correction on/off.gamma was incorect.
OK - bug refresh gamma viewport. Now viewports always reflects gamma changes.
OK - new presets 0.75 : glossies thresold was 0.85, now it’s 0.75 by default on all presets.
OK - swap linear and expo(was inverted !) + 100% bug in color mapping panel.
OK - mini preview had incorrect proportions when lock was on
OK - error when cancelling AutoWB
Bug on DE + interp mats : can’t do anything. Seems to be a vray bug itself !
OK - Sharelightcache filename problem (.vrlmap.vrlmap.vrlm….)
OK - bug mini preview + interpolated lights leads to a dark image.
OK - same treatment for draft and preview methods (had the same problem)
OK - better SP3 detection

Non solved :
- Sometimes render panel is visible but is technically closed . Haven’t found the bug for instance

Hi, All SolidRocks customers.

Here comes the new 0.75 build...
with lot of improvements !

First of all, you can now specify you own solidrocks default settings !
for best convenience, SR now remembers its specific settings for each scene.
Just open a scene, an SR will popup exactly like you've leaved it last time very handy.

A new preset system have been made, to adapt even more SR to specific situations (exterior, interior)

for Vray power users, these presets are fully customisable !!
I've added a thread in this forum for thoses who want to share their own preset files.

Some presentation videos and a full documentation pdf will come in the next few days.

What's new in this build ?

- new modifiable presets system
- new "ShareLightcache" tool for speedup slaves warmup
- new Clay tool, some kind of override material with option to avoid reflected/refracted materials.
- new Auto Exposure tool : SR adjust the Vraycamera shutterspeed for balanced exposition.
- nEw Auto WhiteBalance tool : just focus on a "white" part of your scene, and press button !
- new optimisation : SR can force materials with glossiness < thresold to be interpolated in irradiance map.
- new optimisation : SR can force all vraylilght or only planes to be interpolated in irradiance map.
- new universal settings mode : render in bruteforce+lightcache for high quality renders.
- override of region rendering, stamp, vray log to feet your needs...
- new fast access to render elements
- Autosave render tool : just specify a folder, and all renders will be saved with increment
- Autosave works with render element passes
- new button "show last render". works with both Vray and Max frame buffers
- Color mapping management (if you want)

Improvements :

- modify the SR init settings as yout want.
- better gamma correction system, with option for LFW (bake in image or not)
- more options for better comfort
- better detail enhancement management
- lots of bugs found and killed
- better request/serial system based on hardware, and no more on max ID
- Added render 1/4 button

I tried to answer to all wishes/bug trace/remarks you've all made..
